In search of Snow.
Hopefully more snow again this January 2008 with a long weekend trip to Slovenia planned. Mainly based around Ljubljana and then up to Lake Bled. That should bring up country number 62 with almost all of Europe done, leaving just ??? May be back to the Balkans later this year to investigate even more in Bosnia may be? Sorry for the delay in getting the latest trip to Ukraine up on the website. It will up there shortly.

My perspective on travel...
I have been an independent traveller i.e.: just me, a return flight and a guidebook, since the early 90's. So far I have been lucky enough to have visited over fifty countries. All of these trips have been organised by me: deciding where to go,
through research, route planning, flights, visas, transportation, entertainments, accommodation, translation, insurance, excursions and expeditions, rightthrough to refreshments. Even allowing time for the unexpected to crop up. As an independent traveller, if you do not organise or allow for it, it does not get done.
I travel with an open mind, bare my soul and have trust in fellow man. Appreciating every single moment, wherever or whatever it is. To explore the world, understand and experience different cultures together with their history, architecture, values and beliefs. Most importantly have a fantastic time doing it.
What has all this brought me? Other than fantastic memories, excitement, exhilaration, joy and happiness. A much, much more vivid understanding of the word.......... perspective.
