So far I’ve been lucky enough to have visited 72 countries…
With so many countries now accessible, the choice of destination is bewildering. However, certain cultural, historic, geographic and meteorological characteristics draw me to particular locations. As a consequence, I have been lucky enough to have traveled to the following countries:

(Asterix indicates adventures with Alie)
In the meantime, a little project to keep me busy, is to add all the unpublished travel writings. The pressure is now on Alie to pull her finger out and add the most recent joint holidays. Meanwhile I shall delve into my boxes of Kodak films and holiday notes and endeavour to start adding my pre 2001 / pre internet / pre email holidays. A tough task on the old memory, but I’m really looking forward to it and it certainly will keep me busy!
Below is a list of whats to come:
- China – 2000
- Russia – 1999
- The Stans – 1998
- Iran – 1997
